INHED Chairperson – Call for Expressions of Interest

INHED are inviting expressions of interest in becoming the chairperson or a shared co-chairperson of the board of the Irish Network of Healthcare Educators. The vacancy is occurring because the current INHED chair is stepping down with effect from November 30th 2022.  The INHED chair/co-chair role is outlined below. Expressions of interest should include the name of the applicant or co-applicants, primary affiliations, current and previous educational roles and a rationale for applying for the role. Full details of how to submit an expression of interest and the application process are also available below.

Expressions of interest should be submitted by email to info@inhed.ie before midnight on October 30th.

Desirable criteria include:

• Applicants with good knowledge of INHED’s purposes and modes of operation
• Applications from persons with full-time or part-time affiliations to health professions education organisations.

Applicants should know that the current chair will continue in an ex officio role to support the new incoming chair/co-chairs until they feel comfortable leading the organisation independently.
